President Trump’s administration is erasing an Obama-era rule that withdrew hundreds of millions of acres of federally owned land from possible energy exploration. In the process, it is also opening some U.S. coastal waters in the Arctic and Atlantic oceans for possible oil and gas drilling.
Speaking at a Department of Energy event in June, President Trump said, “We don’t want to let other countries take away our sovereignty and tell us what to do and how to do it. It’s not going to happen.”
White House officials say Thursday’s order directing the Bureau of Land Management to speed up the permitting process for oil and gas leases is a step in that direction.
Couple the latest move with last week’s repeal of the Clean Water Rule, and you have what administration officials call “a blueprint for energy dominance.” The Environmental Protection Agency amended the “Waters of the United States” rules that critics called unfair to agribusiness.
When you roll back the regulations, this means you’re saving on your electricity bills, this means price of gasoline is coming down a few cents a gallon, it can really ripple into tremendous economic benefits when that money is being put back into your wallet.
MSNBC political analyst, Joan Walsh, used a weekend spot on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” to say “really good research” had proven voters who cast a ballot for President Trump were simply racists.
Walsh said. “really good research that’s taken place since the election shows that fear of a changing America is the number one factor that you can see drive really the divides, a white Trump voter from a white non-Trump voter, that it’s fears of brown people, fears of losing the majority.”
Walsh went on to suggest that Irish Catholic working class voters who chose Trump were no longer patriotic because they didn’t support the investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the presidential election.
Which by the way has so far yielded no indictments nor hard evidence of Trump collusion with any Russian.

President Trump has repeatedly lashed out at the FBI and other intelligence agencies for leaks about investigations into his administration’s ties to the Russian government. “The real scandal here is that classified information is illegally given out by ‘intelligence’ like candy,”
Russia says North Korea’s nukes are a ‘direct threat’.
Top Russian official said at a security conference in Singapore that North Korea’s nuclear ambitions are a “direct threat to Russia.” Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin told defense ministers and experts from 39 countries that Pyongyang’s missile defense system “has a real function.”
“That is why it is alarming. And it is direct threat to Russia. We are convinced that it will increase the tensions of the region.
Russia has backed fresh sanctions against North Korea.
In early June, Russia’s deputy U.N. Ambassador Vladimir Safronkov reaffirmed this commitment, “the choice here has to be made in favor of using diplomatic tools to the maximum extent possible.”
U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, speaking at the same conference, said that North Korea presented a “clear and present danger.”
Iran-North Korea military connection
Iran attempted to launch a cruise missile from a “midget” submarine, Pentagon officials saw more evidence of North Korean influence in the Islamic Republic with intelligence reports saying the submarine was based on a Pyongyang design.
President Trump, in an interview with Fox News’ said “nobody’s safe” amid mounting tensions with North Korea.
As Trump weighs his options for trying to blunt Pyongyang’s nuclear advancements,President was asked how safe U.S. troops along the demilitarized zone and South Korea allies are at this time.
President Trump said “Nobody’s safe. I mean, who’s safe? The guy’s got nuclear weapons,” Trump responded. “I’d like to say they’re very safe. These are great brave solders, these are great brave troops and they know the situation. We have 28,000 troops on the line and they’re right there. And so nobody’s safe. We’re probably not safe over here.”
Trump added, “If he gets the long-range missiles, we’re(US main land) not safe either.”
Hillary Clinton memoir on election coming this fall.
Get set for a fast paced, thriller. How Hillary failed, 50 years in the public eye.
Outgoing CIA Director John Brennan had some sharp criticism and warnings for Donald Trump, saying the incoming president doesn’t have a “full understanding” of Russia’s power and threat to the world.
Brennan said “Trump lacks “full appreciation” of Russia’s aggression or about why President Obama imposed sanctions on the Kremlin for meddling in the 2016 presidential election.”
Brennan went on to say “Trump “needs to be disciplined” that he’ll face numerous challenges” in his presidency with terrorism, cybersecurity, North Korea and Middle East instability.”
President Elect Trump has repeatedly suggested better U.S. ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin. And he has been particularly suspect of the entire U.S. intelligence community headed by Brennan.
Obama and his administration have been a total failure when dealing with Russia and it’s president Vladimir Putin. It seems that Obama’s Russian policy has been guided by an old post WWII war monger, John Brennan.
During all this bickering with Russia, Secretary of State John Kerry has been worthless as the south end of a north bound Jackass.
Obama imposed sanctions on the Kremlin. 60 years of sanctions on Cuba, North Korea, 25 years of sanction on Iran did not achieve any of Americas goals. Simply stated Sanctions Do Not Work.
Russia is not the United States natural friends or allies. Neither are they our natural enemy.
Now is the time for a New American President, a New CIA director and a New Secretary of State to establish relations with Russia based on mutual trust and friendships that insures America, Russia and the world are safer and more secure knowing the two most powerful nations on earth are in mutual agreement.
